Winter mist

We got very few misty days during the winter break. On one of those mornings, I took the bike early and stopped at a few trees pruned last winter on my way to the farm, enjoying this magic light. In front of the first large holm oak (Quercus rotundifolia), you can see some branch nests prepared to protect very young oak trees against sheep. Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR) in progress... This winter, we pruned more than 70 young oak trees.
